Palou Shortest Odds to Win Sonsio Grand Prix

Alex Palou enters as the clear betting favorite for the Sonsio Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 9. DraftKings Sportsbook lists the driver at 1/2 odds as of May 7. The race on the IMS road course starts at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Palou won the 2025 Sonsio Grand Prix after starting from pole and leading 29 laps. He holds three victories in five races this season and leads the standings with 186 laps led.

Kyle Kirkwood sits second in the odds at 6/1, followed by Scott McLaughlin and Christian Lundgaard at 10/1. Will Power and Pato O'Ward follow at 12/1, with Scott Dixon at 16/1. Graham Rahal, at 20/1, started second and led 49 laps before finishing sixth in 2025; he placed second at the course in 2015, 2020 and 2023, and ranks 10th in points with one top-five and three top-10 finishes.

Palou also carries the shortest odds to win the INDYCAR championship again.
