Saints targets second NXT title at Stand & Deliver
Ricky Saints challenges for the NXT Championship in a fatal four-way match at Stand & Deliver. He faces champion Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Tony D’Angelo on Saturday in St. Louis, Missouri. Saints seeks to become a two-time NXT champion after winning the NXT North American Championship nearly three months after his February 2025 debut.
Saints debuted by appearing in the NXT crowd and declaring the brand needed the "superstar of the future." He captured the North American title and defended it successfully against Page at his first Stand & Deliver premium live event. Nearly a year later, Saints told Fox News Digital he aims to add to his accolades in NXT.
"I am focused on becoming a two-time NXT champion, that’s for sure," Saints said. "That’s a small list of people that have done that and I wanna put my name on that list. I’ve done a lot in a year. I wanna keep that going." He seeks to join former NXT stars including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Tommaso Ciampa, Karrion Kross, Finn Bálor, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe as a two-time champion.
Saints and Page share a history of alignment or rivalry that has soured recently. "He’s not a bad guy, but the plan hasn’t been going to what we have agreed to," Saints said. "So, I need to look out for myself to make sure I get the NXT Championship back again. So, if he can’t fall in line, then it is what it’s gonna have to be." The event starts at 7 p.m. ET and streams on YouTube.
