MVP ranks Chris Jericho among wrestling's all-time greats ahead of Double or Nothing
Chris Jericho returned to All Elite Wrestling programming in April after an extended period away from the ring. Since his return he has been involved in a rivalry that expanded into a Stadium Stampede match scheduled for Sunday night at Double or Nothing in Queens, New York.
The match will feature Jericho, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson against Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, Mark Davis, Andrade El Idolo, Clark Connors and David Finlay. Jericho has competed in two previous Stadium Stampede matches at Double or Nothing, holding a 1-1 record in the format.
AEW star MVP stated that Jericho has no weaknesses in his game, citing his ability to deliver promos and perform in high-quality matches without a history of serious injuries. MVP noted that Jericho captured the undisputed championship and defeated notable opponents to reach that position, adding that any discussion of the all-time greats of the modern era must include Jericho.
Jericho's career includes appearances across multiple promotions. Double or Nothing will take place at Louis Armstrong Stadium, with the pre-show beginning at 7 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET.
